Book Review, Monthly Roundup

October Round Up

I hope that every one is keeping safe and well. Where I live in the UK we have been put under stricter rules for moving around. I’m still self isolating and so is my mum, so not much has changed for us since the original lockdown. We’ll be going into a national lockdown again in a few days, and already delivery slots for groceries are getting scarce. Like every other county our hospitals are struggling to cope with the amount of new cases. So things are feeling very uncertain again. I guess I’ll be spending a lot more time in my craft room as it my happy place and a place where all the worries of the world just float away.

This October I managed to read 4 books, I had to give up on 1 book after reading two long chapters I just knew I couldn’t carry on and finish it. It’s really is one of my pet hates giving up on books but sometimes it has to be done. I have written 3 reviews which you can see below.

October’s Favourite Book Blitz Cover
The Magic Ingredient
October’s Favourite NetGalley Cover
Late Love

February’s Favourite BookBub Cover

So the reasons for this months favourite book covers for the four different categories are:

The Magic Ingredient: Well it’s not long till the Christmas decorations go up and I’ve already watched lots of Christmas films, so I guess this is the cover I had to choose.

Late Love: I like the daisy wall paper and how it’s been ripped away to reveal the title, it’s a simple cover but so eye catching.

Rescued: Well what can I say he’s a cute guy, I don’t think I need to say anymore.
