January 2021 Round Up

Well I’m very late with posting this. Unfortunately I’ve had problems with my injured hand so I’ve only been able to do things one handed. Hopefully with wearing my splint again and resting my arm it will soon get better.

Also in the UK was are back in lockdown which isn’t help me. Which you will see reflecting in this January round up. How long were in lockdown isn’t really known March and April have been mentioned for the end of lockdown, but as we all know there is no guarantee.

Death Retires

So the reasons for this months favourite book covers for the four different categories are:

Secrets that we Keep: I like how this cover has a bit of a gothic look along with the way the roses look.

The World’s that Separated Us: Yet again this book has a very dark and intriguing look about it making me want to know more about it.

Meet Me in Hawaii: Well this is the only NetGalley book this months, but you have to admit that this cover is enticing as well as chasing away the winter blues.

Death Retires: I just had to choose this cover as I love sugar skulls and anything to do with the Day of the Dead. This book cover had no competition.
