I found this on Elaine Howlin – Literary Blogger and as I’m sure you all know that if there is a book tag doing the rounds I have to join in. I’m not going to tag anyone, but please feel free to join in and tag me in to your post or post a link to your post below so I can check out your answers.
Are there any books you’ve started this year that you need to finish?
Yes there are 2 books that I have started and haven’t yet finished.
Faithful (The Mountain Man’s Babies) by Frankie Love.

I’m 77% in to the book, but still haven’t got around to finishing it. Hopefully I may get to finish it before the end of the year.
Olive, Again by Elizabeth Strout.

I’m only 11% in to this book, and I am finding it very hard to get back to reading it. I think it may take me a while to finish reading it and I can’t see me finishing it before the end of the year.
Do you have an autumnal/winter book to transition into the end of the year?
I don’t always read books to transition me in to autumn/winter, but this year I have found myself reading a few Christmas book.
Christmas Books Read This Year:
- Christmas at Rachel’s Pudding Factory by Caroline Roberts
- An Impish Christmas by Angel Leya
- Studmuffin Santa by Tawna Fenske
Currently Reading:
- Christmas at the Lakeside Resort (Lakeside Resort Book 1) by Susan Schild

Christmas Book To Read This Year:
- A Midwinter Wedding by Melanie Cellier

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I don’t think so, as my TBR is so long, I have plenty of books to read and catch up on. Not including some of the books I’d like to reread.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I don’t really have any books that I want to read before the end of the year, but I would like to get a few more of my NetGalley ARC’s read.
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I’m not sure about that. I won’t really know until I’ve finished reading as many books as I can before the end of the year. As I’m 3 books behind in my 2019 GoodReads reading challenge. I pledged to read 80 books and I’ve only read 74 so far.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Yes I have started to make plans for reading and blogging in 2020. I’ve been designing the art work for 2020’s month end round ups. I’m also putting together a reading list, but I want to see if I can get the odd one read before the end of 2019.
